On 14 – 16 September 2019, a beautiful ancient city of Khiva in Uzbekistan will be hosting International Festival “Magic of Dance’! The Festival will take place in Ichan Kala, the walled inner town of the city of Khiva, UNESCO World Heritage Site.  

The participants of the Festival will include popular Uzbek and international dance groups. The guests of the Festival will be able to enjoy the diversity and richness of the national dances and take part in master classes led by the leading Uzbek dance experts. 

Other highlights of the ‘Magic of Dance’ Festival include: a photo exhibition on ‘The History of the Uzbek Dance Art’, the local handicrafts fair and demonstrations of the colorful national dresses made of the famous local fabric ikat! The Conference on ‘the Role of Cultural Heritage in Sustainable Development of International Tourism along the Great Silk Road’ will take place on the 2nd day of the Festival.
