Movement and Physical Theatre International Festival

First Edition 10-14.09.2021 

Dear ITI National Centers and interested parties 

• The International Festival presents a program of international and national performances – including a regional Caucasian showcase.

• The Festival can present mime, movement, physical theatres and some forms of circus arts.

• The Festival focuses on artistic exchange between international representatives of mime and physical movement theatres worldwide with artistic and educational programs.

The Festival will focus on:

1. artistic program with performances

1. educational program with workshops and trainings

1. academic and research program with seminars, conferences, dialogues or debates
   

Period: 10-14 September of 2021

Place: The city of Tbilisi, Georgia

Responsible for Festival International Theater Institute Georgian Centre & Movement Theatre Tbilisi

For Festival  participation  Priority is given to members of ITI Centers. Furthermore, any professional or emerging artist from all over the world can apply to participate in it.

According the pandemic situation worldwide first Edition of the Festival in 2021 will be organized in Hybrid version through video streams and presentations. 

Festival under the patronage of UNESCO ITI and UNESCO/ITI Performing Arts Educational Network in partnership with Mime and Physical Theatre ITI committee, LA FESTA, Arts Research Institute of Georgia and SCF.
