Musical Theatre Dancers Intensive 2027 is a two-week immersive residency designed for mid-career musical theatre performers and emerging choreographers looking to deepen their practice and expand their creative range.
Program Dates: January 11–23, 2027
Application Deadline: August 12, 2026
Set in an inspiring mountain environment, this intensive offers participants the opportunity to:
- Work closely with leading faculty through choreographic labs and daily technique classes.
- Explore contemporary approaches to musical theatre movement and storytelling.
- Develop collaborative creation skills in a highly focused studio setting.
- Receive mentorship, feedback, and time for artistic reflection.
- Share new work in an informal studio showing at the end of the residency.
The program is open to artists with a strong professional background (six or more credits) who are eager to engage with new choreographic languages and creative processes.
Participants receive a scholarship that already covers the full cost of tuition, along with partial support for accommodation and meals.

Local and international guest artists from the African diaspora come together for a 10-day intensive workshop, from Tuesday to Saturday over two weeks, at Centre Création Danse Nyata Nyata.
This year, Mohamed N’Diaye, Elli Miller Maboungou, Ange Kodro Aoussou-Dettmann, Lacina Coulibaly and Zab Maboungou, join our musicians, Bruno Martinez, Adama Daou and Lou-Gaël Koné to animate and transmit all the art of drumming and movement.
