Photo Exhibition “Masterpieces of the Dance Culture of Mankind” arranged according to the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage prepared under the UNESCO program “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity”.
Taking into account the invaluable role of the intangible cultural heritage as a factor contributing to rapprochement of people, exchanges and mutual understanding between them, we are organizing the Ukraine’s first photo exhibition “Masterpieces of the Dance Culture of Mankind”.
Welcome to the public lectures and performances at Dzyga Art Center on 30.11.2019, from 16:00 to 18:30!
The exhibition was arranged according to the Intangible Cultural Heritage List prepared under the UNESCO program “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity”.
The event program:
16:00 – photo exhibition welcome ceremony.
16:15 – lecture “Flamenco: Stories about Feelings” by Oleksandra Varavina (@Alexandra Ole Prima), instructor of the Ukrainian Dance Federation, the head of the flamenco school Ole! Prima!, a member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO.
16:40 – Lecture “History of Capoeira” by Dmytro Gorbunov (@Dima Gorbunov), instructor of the international capoeira group Cordao de Ouro.
17:00 – Lecture on Sufi whirling “Mevlevi Sema Ceremony” by Natalia Mogolivets, the President of the Lviv Section of the International Dance Council at UNESCO.
17:30 – Flamenco performance. Concert party of the Ole! Prima! flamenco school
18:00 – Capoeira performance by Dmytro Gorbunov and Zarina Munbasova, instructors of the international capoeira group Cordao de Ouro.
18:15 – Sufi whirling.
The exhibition is organized by the Lviv Section of CID with the support of Lviv Convention Bureau, the Department of Art Direction and Choreography of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (@Faculty Cultart Lnu), Ukrainian Dance Federation.
