Sartorial: Tailoring the Chatree Dance
In association with Bangkok Design Week, at Performance by Kanya Thipayosot of the traditional Thai dance “Chatree” developing from Nora Dance, recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, with live musicians playing Thai traditional instruments.
Contemporary cultural designer Mr Rush Pleasnsuk and the Sumphat Gallery team have created new places for the performers.
Darren Lee Royston (UNESCO International Dance Council member) is based in Bangkok, and will curate a Q&A forum.
